Before making movies this is one of the primary questions for the makers that who would be there target audience in terms of the age whether people in the age of 18-23, 23-30, 30 or above.
This is an important decision because the flavor of the movie totally based on the target audience, for example youngsters of the age of 20 years will never like to go for a family movie in which there is lots of drama as there taste is something different. These people wants action, romance etc. Before deciding the target audience the subject or the taste of the movie can never be decided.
There is only a single type of movie or the films for which it is a little hard to decide the target audience and that is the porn movies. There is lesser number of people who visits theater to watch this kind of stuff but people of almost every age like to watch and usually watch the porn DVDs at home.
Porn movie is the only category of its kind and only in this category sale for the movies of the early 80’s has not dropped up till now. There are people who buy and watch before 80’s porn DVDs but this is not an easy job to find the DVDs of that time. Most of the people who hardly find one or two porn DVDs of that time save those movies in their dvdr which is a recordable format and usually used in the desktops.
